We completed auditions on Thursday night and all Role Offers have been sent out.  A the final casts will be posted here Sunday night.

We were so excited by all the talent we saw during auditions that we knew we had to find a way to give as many kids a chance at bigger parts as we could.  Unfortunately, it’s still not enough.  We’ve done our very best to offer each person a role that showcases their abilities while also balancing the cast overall.  There will be some disappointed kiddos but that’s where you, as a parent, get to shine!  You get the opportunity to help your child learn to deal with disappointment gracefully and to learn to make the best of the situation.  Remember, there are no small parts, just small actors!

A few things about a show with two casts for those who have not done one with us before.  There will be a Hollywood cast and a Broadway cast.  Each cast will perform in two shows:  Broadway will perfom on Friday, April 12th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, April 13th at 2:00 p.m.  Hollywood will perform on Saturday, April 13th at 7:00 p.m. and will do the school show on Monday morning.  A tentative rehearsal schedule is attached for you to review.  For the most part, each cast will work on the same scenes on a given day, just in back-to-back rehearsals.  Only for singing and choreography will they ever be together.

In the coming days, you will receive a link to submit sizes for costumes, an updated rehearsal schedule, links for the rehearsal calendar, and information about communication.
