The Results Are In!

A huge thanks to all those who took the time to share their thoughts on WSF Programs for the 2022-2023 school year! Here’s what you told us…

In total, 87 people responded to the survey — our biggest response to a survey ever! Of those folks, 45 have never participated in any WSF programs and 60 people indicated that they would be willing to support the program efforts either a sponsors, volunteers, or serving on a committee.  Over the next few weeks, we will be following up with each of them!

Overall, there is great interest in bringing back most of WSF’s previous programs.  Some will be easier than others but we will do our best to bring you everything you want for your students.

• Not surprisingly, Art on Wheels is the most wanted program.  Unfortunately, this was a program designed and run by a parent who is no longer at Wicklund.  We are working to find an alternative that we can afford.  Stay tuned for more on this!
• We will be discussing Summer Camp plans this fall and will have them out to you in the spring.
• For all other programs, we are discussing what we can afford at this time and prioritizing based on cost and interest.  As you might imagine, our coffers are a little low since fundraising opportunities have been minimal these past couple of years.  If you expressed interest in sponsoring programs, we will be in touch this week.  If you would like to make a donation directed at programs, you can do so here.

Over the next few weeks, we will be determining which program committees to form and opportunities to serve on them will be available in your “My Forms/Paperwork” tab on the WSF website.  Stay tuned!
