Celebrate 20 Years of Wicklund Elementary!

WSF is still working to earn enough money to fund our special projects to commemorate our school’s first 20 years. Your purchase of commemorative bricks and anniversary shirts provide all of the funding!

Project #1: Friendship Patio — This is planned to go in an area in much need of sprucing up just outside the classrooms by the playground. It will include all of the engraved bricks purchased by the founding families of Wicklund and all those purchased this year. The patio will also feature new trees and greener and two benches, one is a gift from the 2023-2024 8th Grade class. We still have about $800 to go to cover the costs quoted back in August.
Project #2: Wall Mural — Back in August, we rounded up the entire student body and all of our teachers, shaped them into “20 YEARS,” and used a drone (Thanks, Drew Jacobsen!) to capture the image. We would very much like to turn this into a wall mural, replacing the old Star Wars themed AR wall in the MPR. We are working to get an estimate for this but expect it to come in around $1000 so we need to raise $1000 still.
